Our work

In 2009 Sesam debuted a successful series of conferences and workshops dedicated to environmentally friendly forms of building, focusing on niche topics within the sustainable architecture and Green Building scheme:

  2. Water Days Dubai, July
  3. Architecture & Daylight, September
  4. Green Retrofit, December

The third module in the series, the Architecture & Daylight conference and workshops, set the focus on daylight architecture, energy efficient lighting and design technologies. The conference and workshop presented strategies demonstrating significant energy saving and health increasing potentials.
More than 200 delegates attended the conference and workshops and gained knowledge and industry insights from the high-quality presentations. The attendees benefitted also from the outstanding networking opportunity with industry peers provided by the conference and workshop and could learn hands-on about state of the art lighting products in the adjacent exposition.
The workshop guided delegates through a LEED project, focusing on the daylight and lighting related aspects. Attendees were also educated in-depth about LED technology and visited the Yas Island Formula 1 Race Track and Interchange in Abu Dhabi to understand the state of the art lighting and LED technology utilized in this prestigious project.
