On behalf of Italian associations of machinery manufacturers Sesam Business Consultants, in partnership with SAGECO, carried out an extensive market research based on a large number of in-depth face-to-face interviews. The areas of focus were the metal, plastics, glass and textile processing industries and major market players in the three main industrial regions of Saudi Arabia: Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam. The task was to determine the consumer behaviour: which types of machinery are in demand in the market, which countries of import and brands dominate the market, what is the turnaround for machinery in Saudi Arabia and the state of maturity in the concerned industries.
