Dr. Linda Nubani is Founder and Managing Director of Mazari Consultants FZ LLC in Dubai, UAE, a Consultancy Firm specialized in Space Planning, Interior Design, Sustainable Design, Lighting Design, and Crime Prevention through environmental design.  In 2009, she introduced Sustainable Design Division to her firm with specialized team based in Paris, France.  In 2004, Dr. Nubani joined the American University in Dubai as a full-time Assistant Professor in Interior Design.  Prior to that, she had been involved in various GSA funded researches in the U.S.   She has also been actively consulting for her family-run businesses in Jordan, UAE and the USA for over 10 years.  One such example includes her work on the Annual Exterior Lighting Design for the UAE government on their National Day Celebrations.  Her professional portfolio includes a wide range of hospitality projects, offices, and retail stores in the UAE, Qatar, Jordan and the USA.  Her research interests, however, is focused on space syntax and the influence of environmental design on human health and behavior, an important aspect of sustainable living.  Professor Nubani has published and presented at various International Conferences. In 2008, she became the interior design editor to Compasses, an Italian Architectural and Interior Design Magazine distributed in the Gulf region.  Dr. Nubani is also a founding member of the Association of Professional Interior Designers (APID) in the UAE and CO-Organizer of Dubai Green Building Conference 2008
