Mercedes Corbell is a US registered architect and LEED AP. She has more than 25 years of experience in residential and commercial project design and project management with an emphasis on sustainable design.

Mercedes owns the architectural firm, Mercedes Corbell Design + Architecture, in California. She worked with AECOM in Libya and has been based in Riyadh since March 2011. Mercedes has consulted to the ArRiyadh Development Authority and to the Arab Urban Development Institute in Riyadh, as well as working with private clients.  In addition to her architectural work, Mercedes lectures on design and sustainability.

 Mercedes is a member of the AIA, AIA Mideast, USGBC, Passive House California, and Build it Green. She served on the Executive Committee for the 2012 AIA Architecture Design Days Riyadh conference.
