Abdulla Al Muaini
Director of Consumer Safety Services – Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity

“QCC’s mandate for Safety Service and related product registration process”

Short Profile:

Abdulla Hassan Al Muaini is the Director of Consumer Safety Services at the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (QCC). In his current role, Al Muaini defines and approves the assessment criteria for Product Certification Services (Trustmark Services) to ensure a higher level of product compliance with the UAE technical regulations and trustmark requirements.

Furthermore, he spearheads the Consumer Safety Services Division in identifying high-risk consumer products through the use of trustmark and product recall system for the benefit of consumers in Abu Dhabi. In addition to driving the division to achieve its strategic goals, Al Muaini represents the QCC on key consumer safety matters.

Al Muaini has over 13 years of local and international experience and brings a wealth of knowledge in quality, product compliance policy, corporate strategy and telecommunication.

Beginning his career as a graduate trainee at Etisalat, he also served as the Engineer/UAELAB-Broad Band Network. In his last role at Etisalat, he was deployed to Pakistan as Senior Advisory Committee Member of the Etisalat International Investments Project.

Al Muaini holds an Executive Diploma in Strategic Management and a level seven Executive Diploma in Management from the Chartered Management Institute, Dubai. He also has a Master’s in Business Administration from the American University of Sharjah, UAE, and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, US.
