Short Profile:

Faimeen is a Chartered Professional Fire Engineer and manages the fire engineering consultancy division of Exova Warringtonfire in the Middle East.  He has been in the fire industry for more than 15 years and specialises in performance based design and code consulting services.
Faimeen’s specialist area of expertise is providing fire and life safety solutions for the built environment to bring significant architectural, commercial, social and sustainability benefits to projects. He applies scientific and fire engineering principles including complex occupant evacuation and CFD computer modelling to provide optimum fire safety measures.

Having a mechanical engineering background, Faimeen has an excellent understanding of smoke control systems and fire management strategies involving the interaction between fire and other building services. Faimeen is also conversant in fire services design of active fire systems, code consulting (NFPA, IBC, BCA and other international building codes) and project management. Faimeen also has extensive experience in product development of passive fire safety systems involving fire and smoke testing as well as assisting in the development of fire and smoke standards.
